Because of its high corrosion resistance, the grade can withstand high temperatures in aggressively corrosive media. It also has a high heat tolerance, as the tube can operate at temperatures as high as 870 degrees Celsius. The tube can tolerate a temperature of around 925 degrees C in continuous operation. Its reliability makes it a top-of-the-line component that can handle both structural and temperature stresses. It can also be heat-treated at temperatures ranging from 1010 to 1120 degrees Celsius.
